A Journey to the West
When Sansang, a monk of the Reflective Way, sees the rise of the Tyrant-King in Xianjing, and the increase in people who have strayed from the Way, he decides to travel to the distant West. There, where the Way originated, he hopes to recover new teachings that will help him restore order to his nation.
Meanwhile a new power is rising in the north: a swordmaster of the Qinzai school, the beautiful and unworldly-skilled Nimshan. She exhibits powers that have never been seen before; swords obey her like bowing courtiers. Nimshan claims to have an ally from beyond the borders of Heaven itself, a mysterious wizardess who calls herself Mu Yanling. The two of them are searching for something, and meanwhile accumulating an army of followers. Will they challenge the Tyrant?
Sansang gathers allies of his own as the order of Heaven and the order of the world below unravel in tandem.
