The First Horizon

Ashiok was a habited by the Spirit of Symath. He was destined to protect the Archive, a great hidden library which contains informations about the Multiverse and its planes. But he prefered to follow the teachings of Ediak, a technomancer that was experiencing upon nightmares and the reality veil. Ashiok denied Symath, and the spirit goes wander alone the Kastadiate City, sad.

Many years later, the First Horizon event occurs. Ashiok and Ediak triggers the First Horizon, a catastrophic event caused by reality manipulation that destroyed the city, forcing the other Technomancers to leave the plane. Symath found an old friend of Ashiok: Tamander, a machine habited by a ghost. The ghost offers to Symath his corpse that he can found Ashiok and stop him to deal more damage that he does on this plane. The soul of Tamander leaves the body, letting Symath search Ashiok on the entire plane.

After a very long time, Symath found two humans that was stranger to his world. After a combat with the human, Symath understand that there was other worlds and then his spark awakened.

A replica of the First Horizon is coming. Ancient machine, buildings and construction awake from a long sleep as energy come back again in the ruins of Kastadiate. The weather changes, the days are longer, the vegetation bigger, the animals more numerous. The Second Horizon arrives.

The Archive

Long ago, three Planeswalkers originating from Phedarax created the Atedion, an association of Planeswalker devoted to explore the numerous worlds among the Multiverse. The accumulated knowledge was stored in the the Archive.

Years later, the planeswalker of the Atedion were purchased by the phyrexians that killed all of them. The phyrexians wanted to access the knowledge of the Archive, for expanding their domination. The technomancers, scholars of the Atedion protected it by crypting the Access to the Archive and they created six entities (1 for each colors and one colorless) to protect the Archive against the phyrexian. The Archivist and Symath were two of them.

With Ashiok gone, Symath must find him to restore the six entities before the phyrexians know that the Archive is vulnerable.
